Trollhetta AS was founded in 2001 and we are now a technology leader contributing with experience and cutting edge technology.

The entrepreneur team was dr.ing. Ketil Bø and Professor Agnar Aamodt. Both working as professors at The Norwegian University of Technology and Science (NTNU) in Trondheim, Norway with long experience in the areas of image processing and artificial intelligence. Since then several sucsessfull spin-off companies have been launched from Trollhetta AS, such as Verdante Technology AS and VoxelVision AS ( aquired by Schlumberger in 2005).

Trollhetta strives to follow the companies core values: Proud, Fearless, Open and Responsible. Through our values we secure the best results for our customers, employees and owners.

Since the startup in 2001 the company has been concentrated on developing tailored solutions created with the development environment that are unique for Trollhetta AS. Our main areas of operations are Wind Farms, Oil & Gas and Fish Farming.

In 2011 several new development projects have been initiated. Our unique development tools and experience makes us a preferred development partner!
