Trollhetta AS has, together with  Proserv, developed a  Subsea Leakage Detection system using state of the art video analyses. The system taps into the video stream for a subsea camera and is capable of identifying oil and gas leakages, and alarming the operator about the current problem. The system gives the operator information about the size and duration of the leakage, and documents the incident using video and image sequences tagged with the needed information.

The system is able to compensate for the low lighting conditions and also filter small particles in the water that normally creates problems for the operator making them unable to see and detect leakages.

 Trollhetta is also developing a vibration monitoring solution that will in the future work together with acoustic sensors to monitor moving subsea equipment during operations.
